3. DATE of CHAMPIONSHIP
This championship will be held on the 6th of November 2008 and will end on the 8th of November
4. CLOSING DATE of CHAMPIONSHIP/ TEAM REGISTRATION
Each Championship form should reach the secretariat on the 6th of October 2008 before 3.00 p.m.
Each team should register at the secretariat at Cool Point,Tanah Rata the latest at 03.00p.m.on
the 5th of November 2008.
5. PARTICIPANTS
This Championship is opened to interested parties aged 18 and above ,fit and of good health for the duration of the Championship.
Each team must be comprised of 4 participants. Each team must submit certified health certificates from qualified medical practitioners and personal accident insurance cover notes during registration.

6. RULES AND REGULATIONS
6.1 Each team must arrive at the finishing line in accordance with the route fixed by the organizers.
6.2 The participant who arrives in the fastest time will be deemed the winner. The time taken from checkpoint 1, checkpoint 2 and the finishing line will be added to determine the winner.
6.3 All participants will start off at 8.00 a.m. at the starting point, 7-00a.m. at checkpoint 1 and 7.00 a.m. at checkpoint 2.
6.4 The organizers will not provide any equipment, food or beverages except for rafting activities for the duration of the Championship. Each team should bring food, cooking utensils, tents or any equipment that they deem necessary (like clothes, medicine, torch lights, etc.,).
6.5 Each team must ensure that their Championship passports are duly signed by officials posted at the various checkpoints. Forms provided must be endorsed as well. Failure to comply will result in the team being disqualified in the Championship.
6.6 Each team is allowed to wear their team jerseys or those provided by their sponsors. Teams are not bound to wear jerseys supplied by the organizers.
6.7 The winners will be determined by the team that arrives in the fastest time. If the time recorded is the same, then it will be determined by the time recorded at checkpoint 1.If it is still the same, then the time recorded at checkpoint 2 will be taken into account. But if that is still the same, then the time recorded at the last checkpoint will be taken. If that remains the same, then the Championship Committee will determine the winner and the decision will be final.
6.8 Time will be taken when all participating teams have arrived at the stipulated checkpoint. If teams do not arrive at the checkpoints at the stipulated time, the teams will be disqualified and will not be deemed fit to compete.
6.9 In the event of an injury, the Championship officials will determine whether the participant is fit to continue the challenge. The decision will be final.
6.10 Each team is prohibited from cutting, breaking or pulling out any vegetation, killing any animals and lighting bonfires and the like. If any team is caught, the team will be disqualified from the Championship and ordered to pay a fine set by the Forestry Department.
6.11 Each team must arrive at the stipulated checkpoint. No team is allowed to spend the night
on the stipulated route or where there are no Championship officials.
