Concept  
1. In principle, TNEC is a four (4) day climbing race that will be organized according to appropriate and recognized rules, regulations and conditions particularly for the similar type of other recreational sports
2. In planning, TNEC is expected to commence on Wednesday where registration, health assessment test and safety test will take place. The race will kick off on the following day until Sunday. Details of the schedule are as follows:
3. The starting point of the race is at Relau River, Merapoh, Kuala Lipis while the ending point is at National Park, Kuala Tahan, Jerantut.

Introduction
  1. Mount Tahan is the tallest mountain in Peninsular malaysia with 2,187 meters height. It is located in the National Park, Jerantut, Pahang covers 4,343 kilometers square area. It is one of main destinations in Malaysia for local and international climbers. With its natural fascination, Mount Tahan offers great view apart from climbing adventure.

  2. KDYTM Tengku Mahkota Pahang, Tengku Abdullah Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah highlighted his wish and interest during the Launching Ceremony of Pahang River Rafting Expedition 2005 in Kuala Lipis to have the state government or any private institution organizing an event that makes Mount Tahan as its venue. The event can be in any sort, but an adventure-type is the most possible option.

  3. SPKG Tours Sdn Bhd and Temerloh Outdoor Challenger and Services Sdn Bhd, hence, collaboratively and proudly put forward a plan to make the Highness’ wish a reality. Both esteemed institutions are honored and keen to plan National Park Eco-Challenge as an annual event specially for Mount Tahan where climbing is the subject of the challenge.
